I upgraded my 8.1 BootCamp install to Windows 10 this evening. I need to reinstall the drivers for Boot Camp, so I rebooted into OS X to download them via Boot Camp Assistant. However, upon opening, I get an error:
Upon googling, it appears that the Windows 10 upgrade created two recovery partitions. I deleted them, but the partitions are still there (Blank and Blank1) and i cannot merge them back with the main OS X Partition using the DiskUtil command in Terminal (via recovery). I do have FileVault enabled, could this be preventing the merge because it is trying to merge into an encrypted partition? If I decrypt will this let me fix this issue?
If not, do I need to totally erase the disk and start from scratch? I'd really rather not have to do that if at all possible... (I can redo the BootCamp, I dont want to redo OS X)
TIA for any help.
