I am trying to create a BootCamp installation on an old MBP 13" 2014 model. The MBP has a clean install of the latest Catalina Beta.
BootCamp Assistant has partitioned the drive and created a supposedly bootable USB drive. In the boot option menu I can see two additional disks: One labelled "EFI Boot" and one labelled "Windows". If I boot from "EFI Boot" the MBP boots directly into OS X. If I try "Windows". I get "ExFAT" on the screen followed by a black screen for a long time, then a orange white vertical stripe pattern, then nothing more? If I remove the USB, I only see "Macintosh HD" in the boot menu.
I have also tried to create a bootable USB using Rufus on a Windows 10 machine. In the boot option menu that shows up as just "EFI Boot" and again boots directly into OS X.
Secure boot is switched off and I have verified that the USB is healthy. Any ideas?
