Bootcamp backup Winclone vs Disk Utility

Hello,
I'd like to install Windows 7 RC to my bootcamp partition but before doing that I'd like to backup the current XP installation as a disk image. I would like to know what are the pros/cons of using either the OSX Disk Utility or Winclone.

I tried the Disk Utility and the .dmg image was created quite fast. I'm right now running the WinClone and it is very slow.

What is your experience with both ?
