I'm trying to install bootcamp on my 2.4GHz Macbook Pro. I can set up a partition using the bootcamp utility but when the computer restarts to load windows, a blank grey screen pops up, the disc spins up for a minute and then the disc is ejected. The computer just sits at this blank grey screen until I power down. Now whenever I want to boot into OSX I have to hold down the option key and select OSX even though that is the only startup disc on the computer. If I don't hold down option it goes right back to the black grey screen. The XP disc I'm using does have SP2 on it so thats not the problem. I tried resetting the PRAM and that didn't work. Anybody have any idea what might be causing this?
