On my iMac I have been trying to install bootcamp so I can get some of my favorite games. I have partitioned the hard drive, I put in the windows xp disc to install, but when it restarts to install windows, it cannot get past the grey screen. I'm not sure what the problem is, and I have followed the bootcamp assistant in doing everything it asks. After trying to install windows, the only way I can even get it to reboot using mac is to do command-p-r. Anyone have any idea as to what the problem could be?

yep its service pack 3 windows xp home edition- oem
it gets stuck on that grey looking screen right before the apple logo would generally pop up
