Hello everyone. I deleted Bootcamp from my hard drive after installing XP, which I continue to run successfully under Parallels 3.0. If I want to restore my dual-boot Bootcamp option, do I need to reinstall Bootcamp and XP, etc. from scratch, or is here some way to tell Bootcamp that I already have XP installed. The main problem is that we recently did a major home move, and my XP CD is missing in action.

thanks very much...aa.

To quickly answer your post, no, I don't think what you're asking is possible as Parallels uses a virtual hard drive, the contents of which most likely could not be extracted. Your best bet is to reinstall windows.

Is XP on a different partition that BC made? if so yea you can. since its just another partition you can tell your mac to boot from it.
