Hi,

Im running xp sp2 with no updates on my mid 2010 macbook pro 13" and every time i install bootcamp 3.1 using the disc that came with the computer i get blue screen of death (BSOD) at seemingly random points. Has anyone got any ideas? I cant find anyone with a similar problem on google.

I would install all the drivers separately but there doesnt seem to be an installer for the bootcamp preferences that allow me to use the volume controls and right click functionality.

Weirdly, the installer also looks like its installing ATI drivers which i know it doesn't have.

Any help appreciated as this is driving me mad!

Try this

Try this (doing it right now):
1. try to install boot-camp drivers
2. It should at least get to internet drivers
3. Restart several times into XP
4. When you get to the log in screen log-in
5. Start Menu-windows update
6. it should bring up ie6 with an update
7. Update to XP sp3
try to install again.
