Bootcamp: file swapping?

I have a question about Bootcamp.

When installed is it possible for me to save files from the XP onto a partition which both the XP and Mac side can see?

So..... I can have sort of a "share area" where I can drop files in and both sides and access/read/edit them?

I hope my poor explanation isn't too complex :D
