Please bear with me because it's been a great many years since I've even looked at a Windows pc.
I have a work project that requires a group of files to be submitted on cd. The recipient of the cd is windows pc only, no Mac. I acquired and installed Windows 10pro via bootcamp to do the job and to ensure I can see what the client see's once they review the cd. easy peezy!
First, I transferred the file containing multiple folders (on mac) to a thumb drive. Then I booted into Windows10 and dragged the file onto Windows. ez
From there, I loaded-up a blank cd, dragged the file onto said cd, and burned said cd. ez
Here's the problem: Once the cd's been burned, all files are indeed there, that's great. BUT, when I open each file to view the series of pdf docs within, the files are there but what appears to be hidden sister files (to each file) also appear. That will not jive with the client and, looks pretty amateurish.
Why do 'sister' files that appear like hidden files appear? And, how do I get rid of them so that only the pdf file shows up in the folders?
I feel really dumb.
