I spotted some old threads about filesharing between two partitions of different OS and want to hear if this is still possible?

Let's say I have the following configuration:
256gb SSD divided into two partions, one with HFS+ and one with ntfs
750gb HDD formatted with fat32.

Would that allow me to use the 750gb drive as a transport disk between the two systems?

Im asking because I might have to be working across both systems due to the fact that I have some apps for windows that will put out some files that I need to use in an OSX based app later on.
