Please help me with this guys! I reinstalled both OSX and Windows 7 yesterday. Each in its own 60 gb partition. I used refit to boot into each and it was working great.
Now all of a sudden, whenever booting into Windows, I get the message "Missing operating system". I am trying to understand if the error is coming from the refit(grub?), which indicates something is wrong with my partitions or if the error is coming from the windows boot loader, which means all I need to do is run the startup repair tools.
But here's the strangest part: I cannot even boot into my Windows 7 install USB stick anymore! The exact same drive which I used only yesterday gives the same error message when trying to boot to it from refit. It is detected as a WIndows external drive but when I click it, it says "Missing operating system".
I would really appreciate some help with this guys. I have a copy of Windows 7 that I can't boot to and I can't reinstall Windows 7 either because I can't boot to the USB stick either. Thanks.

EDIT2: Even with refit removed, I can't boot into my old partition. It's not a refit problem.
EDIT3: I can now boot to the Windows installer on the DVD drive but after the initial setup, I can't boot to the Windows partition to finish the setup. I get a blinking cursor and thats it. What the hell is going on? This is incredibly frustrating.
EDIT4: Ok! I finally got Windows installed and booting fine...just one more Apple problem. I manually created my partitions with disk utility opposed to using bootcamp assistant and now the damn thing wont let me download the drivers without deleting and re-creating my partitions. Any ideas on how to get the drivers? Bootcamp assistant is not designed very well.
