A friend installed Windows XP on my Macbook. Under the normal HD icon on the desktop, there is another HD icon named "Untitled". I'm assuming that icon is dedicated to the Windows side of my hard drive???

It's not a big deal, but can I hide or rename that icon?

If you want to rename the icon you'll have to rename the hard drive in Windows, I believe. I don't know if hiding the icon is possible.

Ahhh. That makes sense. Thanks

I try to avoid booting up with Windows unless necessary.

If the Win partition is formatted as Fat32... you can simply rename it by pressing enter in Mac OS X

If its NTFS... you'll need to rename it in Win XP. Just rename the C: drive in Win XP My Computer!
