I have a working windows 7 install iso, the usb with the support software, and i've partitioned my disk for windows (200GB) using bootcamp assistant. when i get into the installation screen for windows 7 after restarting, i formatted the bootcamp partition (which was now 188gb, i assumed the rest of the space was the necessary bootcamp files) but when i click to start installing the "copying windows files" % shoots up to 100 instantly, then gets stuck at the next step at 0%, one person said there needs to be 3 files in the bootcamp HD, but i only see 2. folder $WINDOWS.~BT and $WINDOWS.~LS. ~LS only has 2 empty subfolders and ~BT has a panther folder with an empty setup.exe folder. i would really appreciate any help i can get as i would rather not spend more money on another computer just for windows. Edit: it has now been sitting there at 0% for about an hour now, it has not restarted or anything yet. Edit2: now i'm getting this error message. i googled the error report # and got results saying it was due to bad media. i burned the disk at 2.4x speed on disk utility (the slowest option i had) i'm going to try burning it again and see what happens.
