Hi guys

So i installed a Macbook SSD into those cheap pcie drives.

I had it in slot 2 whilst i was loading it up.

it is a NTFS drive that i use for windows...

i used it for 2-3days there and went to installed my second GPU back into slot 2 and moved the PCIE ssd to slot 4 and not windows won't load... i get a range of errors.

i know the drive is at fault because if i remove it windows loads fine and if i reinstall it back into slot 2 it also works.

Ive tried PRAM reset but nothing seems to work...

any ideas would be much appreciated

Windows has always been fussy about the ID of where it was, so moving Windows to another slot changes the path and ID.

If you boot from Windows installer and let it attempt to fix errors? Is this 8.1? I found it to be easier to make such changes. (Currently using Windows 10 TP which is coming along nicely - none of the "metro" modern app interface problem).
