Bootcamp nightmare, please help

Hi guys, I am trying to install Windows 8.1 using bootcamp but am receiving the error 'The startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition.'

I've googled this but all guides discuss erasing additional partitions. On Disk Utility I only have Macintosh HD and BOOTCAMP. The - button is greyed out for the bootcamp disk even when I load disk utility though CMD-R booting.

I am completely out of ideas and would appreciate any help you guys can provide :)
