Bootcamp on 2006 24" iMac

Hi guys, I need to install a windows program on a core 2 duo iMac (late 2006). I need win 64 bit.

Is this possible? Is it easy?

I tried, but when I get to the part when it restarts, with the Win7 DVD for install, I get a black screen with the following:

2:
Choose cd boot method:

But since I'm using bluetooth keyboard and mouse, I cannot interact.
I can get a usb keyboard, but I'd like to know if its worth trying.
