Bootcamp or virtual Win 7 ?

Hello, I have my first Macbook Air, I need win for some specific applications.
I have 2012 Air with 8GB RAM and 128 SSD.

What ist better for disc space? On my Asus notebook win 7 have about 10GB ONLY windows.
Its the same on virtual? (parallels or vmware)?

What you prefer and why?
