Bootcamp Partition missing from Vmware Fusion

Hello I have a bootcamp partition of Windows Vista on my Imac and I just installed Vmware Fusion. When Vmware Fusion loads it is supposed to recognise the bootcamp partition and give the oportunity to the user to start it as a guest operating system but unfortunately the bootcamp partition does not appear on the Vmware list of available virtual machines. Anyone has any idea how can i fix it?? Thank you very much for your help
