I setup bootcamp to install Windows 7 on my 2nd physical hard drive (not the SSD OS X is installed on) i partitioned about 100gb out of the total 2TB and went to install Windows on it, I canceled the windows installation because it was taking a long time and thought i'll do it when I have more time.

But now Bootcamp Assistant won't run anymore it says "You must update your computer's Boot ROM firmware before using this setup assistant."

But it worked before, I have a 27-inch Mid-2011 iMac with an i7 Processor so it should be capable and I am running OS X 10.8.5 all latest firmware updates for everything

any ideas?

Fixed it by unplugging computer for a while then plugging back in turning on and doing pram reset seems to have solved it
