I understand macOS doesn't allow bootcamp to be installed on external drives and that there are workarounds. I'm wondering if anyone knows if installing macOS to an external drive and then attempting to run bootcamp (from the external drive) would allow a bootcamp installation on said external drive. Presumably I could then boot into macOS on the internal drive and remove the external macOS partition while keeping the bootcamp partition. Appreciate any guidance -- thanks.
