Hello,
I own a 2010 macbook pro with what I understand has 4gb of ram.
I made a bootcamp partition with windows 7 64 bit and played my favourite games on it which I enjoy.
Recently these games have become super choppy and one will not run at all (1 frame per minute).
I tried to find the problem and I believe it stems from RAM, attached is a picture of my system information that I found. It says only 2gb are installed and 1.74 of that is actually usable. This must be what is affecting my performance.
Is there a way to make it recognize all of the ram on my mac?
Do you think the problem is a stick of RAM has manually become detached?
Please help me, I am desperate to get this running again.
EDIT: I think we can safely say it is a hardware issue as it displays 2GB of RAM on mac OS toohttp://imgur.com/gVUBY8L.
It does come with 4gb of ram right?
Okay, it turns out one stick had become loose so I had it manually fixed, I will leave this here incase others have this problem too.
