Bootcamp - run Windows on a secondary internal HDD?

I know. This is probably a totally silly question. But I want to set up Bootcamp on my Mac Pro (when it arrives), on an internal secondary HDD... So:

Primary HDD : OS X
Secondary HDD : Windows
Planned Third HDD : Time Machine

Just wanted to check if my plan seems logical and do'able? Before I plunge into this.

Probably the best way to run Windows on your mac. Keep both operating systems separate to lessen the likely hood of having one accidently mess up the other.

That's exactly what I had in mind. But being a newbie to Mac's and OS X I was making sure. Glad I got the right idea, and as usual the MacRumors members have been very helpful. Thanks!
