Hello everyone,
Although I have been lurking around here for a while looking at the forums, this is my first post.
I have owned a Macbook Pro Late 2011 15 inch for nearly around 3 years. Recently whilst running OSX the screen went blue all the usual symptoms (that I saw on this forum) for a logic board replacement.
I got my logic board replaced for free, which I am very grateful for. However, now in bootcamp whilst running windows 7 I randomly get distorted lines and a black line separating my screen in two (as if I was mid way of going to another screen in OSX).
Anyways, the usual suspect of the same issue, however, what I can't seem to understand is that no other post on the internet or this forum seems to ressemble my case.
This only happens to me when I am under bootcamp and I can't seem to replicate it through osx (despite trying to put a graphic intense game on osx)
Is this another case of faulty logic board for MBP 2011 15 inch, or is this something else?
Thanks!
P.s I don't now if this changes anything but: After having received a new logic board, I replaced the SSD and ram. I removed the optical bay and but they old HDD in it. However, this meant I had some difficulties installing Windows (no optical drive). I followed the instruction from some posts on this forum and managed to install windows through first of all partitioning it and then installing through a virtual machine with an ISO.
