I'm troubleshooting mm2012 with hpOmen.
Mini just don't see the box.
Faulty one can be the cable, adapter or the box itself.

To see if the connection would work in windows, I installed win10 to an external hdd with this guide:
https://blog.macsales.com/40947-tech-tip-how-to-use-boot-camp-on-an-external-drive
(You need to find few corrections in the comments to make it work...)

People seem to tell that Bootcamp somehow breaks the backward compatibility in TB, but it should work in "clean" windows? What's the difference here? Using a mac with windows needs drivers for mac's hardware, but you shouldn't install them?
Trying to install intel's drivers for TB doesn't work for "bootcamped" windows. It says that apple's drivers do not give permission to be replaced.

So,
should I just remove apple's tb drivers and then install intel's drivers?
Can you do that alone or do you need to uninstall the whole bootcamp driver package?
