Does OS X 10.11 El Cap support running dual monitors through Target Disk Mode with virtualization software? Should it make a difference?
If I have a MacBook Air or Retina MacBook Pro with Fusion or Parallels running Windows with QuickBooks Enterprise and MS Office 365 (I need the Windows version for various features in Outlook and Excel not on the Mac side and OneDrive for Business as well), when I connect my 27" iMac to the MacBook Air or Retina Pro, will I be able to bring all Windows apps to both screens?
Sorry but I have never used Fusion or Parallels.
Also, I assume that if I go with a BootCamp installation of Windows on the Mac, then when I boot into Windows I could NOT use the iMac as a second screen as the iMac probably won't go into Target Disk Mode over Thunderbolt when the Windows side is booted.
