Hey guys. I have Bootcamp with Windows 10 installed on my 2009 MacPro for gaming. I have updated to the latest Windows 10 1809 a couple days ago. Also I upgraded from a 2TB hard drive to a 4TB hard drive for all games installed. I normally boot Windows 10 from a SSD.

Anyhow a couple days ago when opening Startup Disk on the Bootcamp Control Panel this weird partition appeared. It has Chinese characters. If anybody here can read Chinese. Do you guys know what it says?

I don't know what that partition in Chinese is. I'm afraid it might be related to a virus or malware. You can not really see the Chinese partition with the Disk Management on Computer Management and if I select the Chinese partition as a startup disk it just boots on MacOSX. On the startup disk control Panel on MacOS the Chinese partition does not appear. Only on the Windows Control Panel you can see the unaccounted for Chinese partition. Please help!!

ps: I have attached a screenshot of the windows 10 bootcamp startup disk control panel where you can see what seems to be a hidden partition with Chinese characters.

It looks like a recovery partition for windows. The characters arent chinese, the computer just doesnt know how to interpret them. The bootcamp logo is present on the folder which makes me think that it's all good
