First off, hello. I’ve been reading these forums a few years and thought it time to actually sign up.
Second I’m sorry for the repeated subject matter. I’ve read through a load on the topic here and other site but none I’ve seen so far seems to cover what I’m seeing exactly.
Here we go: I’m repurposing my old 2007 MacBook, 4gb ram, duel core on a 32 bit platform that runs lion. (Can’t upgrade further). I’m trying to split the drive with bootcamp to also run Win7, as indicated by bootcamp. It starts fine and downloads the windows support files (I’ve tried both external hard drive and disc burnt in the optical drive). I can select the partition size but on install it fails to find the install drive. I’m stuck going forward.
As it happens I do have a win7 iso on a disc, but the partitions not made yet and I don’t know how I’d get the Mac drivers installed on the windows side if it was.
Any tips please?
Davey
