So I recently a 240gb Vertex 3 on my 2011 MBP 15inch. I don't have TRIM enabled as it doesn't work well with the Vertex 3. Everything is working great as of now. I also installed bootcamp Windows 7 and when I boot into Windows it says TRIM is enabled. Does tha tmean when I'm in Windows TRIM is working, but when im in OSX TRIM is off? Also, what does this mean for the Vertex 3? Will it be performing better in Windows, because I ran some AS SSD benchmark on Windows and it is pretty bad performance.

Windows 7 handle TRIM out of the box. Windows 7 will take much care of your SSD than OS X until you use the TRIM hack. TRIM is useful for any SSD.

Won't Lion incorporate TRIM as well? (I recall reading that somewhere, but don't have the link...)
