I didn't use my Windows partition in quite a while so I used it and it needed an update; update was downloaded, restarted and installed and then suddenly my keyboard and mouse failed to work at my login screen. I couldn't do anything so I was forced to shut down by holding down the power button.
It had been about 2 weeks since I last used it and it was absolutely fine. My Macbook which is 4 years old in January is currently running Mac OSX Leopard as my Mac partition. Everything on my Mac works fine just not on my Windows, would be use full if it did.
I appreciate any help just please try and avoid telling me that you've had the same problem, it doesn't really help. A solution would be brilliant! I'de preferably not do a re-install, as I have nothing to back up my files.
