If anybody has any insight on this I am considering installing windows 8 or 10 using bootcamp (for gaming), and I was wondering if one was better than the other, performance wise. Ive done some reading and saw a bit about how buggy win 10 is, but I don't know how recent that is. Any recommendations? Running a late 2015 MBP.

I think Windows 10 is a great product. True 8.1 at this point is a mature and solid OS, MS did a good job at polishing the rough edges over time. They then took that, and improved it with win10, so I'd go within windows 10.

I'd go with Windows 10. Its been very stable for me, even through the Windows Insider program where I've been using it since October of 2014. Plus, you'll have the most current version to run in Boot Camp and shouldn't have any compatibility issues going forward for the time being.
