After I installed some updates on windows, windows would not load. It will give me an option screen that says something went wrong with a hard drive and it gives me choices to load windows in all the safe mode options, restart to last known config & to start up windows normally. When I try to restart to last known config & windows normally, it goes to the windows logo and flashes something blue for a second & reboots. Whenever I try to enter safe mode, I get a list of my disk partitions & the computer reboots and the same process happens over again.

I tried the disable automatic restart on system failure and it leads me to a blue screen that says "A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer." and some more

I don't have my CD with me because I'm away from home. The next time I would be home is next week.

Is there anything that I can do?
Thanks!
