Bootcamp Windows XP needs Window Support files

So I got Bootcamp to install a copy of Windows XP SP3 but when I insert either the OSX install disc or the Windows Support Files disc I created with Bootcamp it says that it requires a install of Windows 7. Is there anyway I can get around this?

Also my Macbook Pro's OS is Lion.

Which MBP? Apple stopped supporting XP with the 2011 models.
