Sorry if this has been discussed before folks but with the search function turned off on MacRumors it's a bit hard to find out.

Anyway, with the new iMacs not having a SuperDrive built in is it possible to still set up Bootcamp without it? Or do I need to buy an external SuperDrive?

Thanks!

Nope! If you open BootCamp it will ask if you want to create a bootable Windows USB. It will also download the current drivers for your Mac. The only catch is... Do you have a .ISO of the operating system?

Hmm… I have the disc and my MBP has a SuperDrive. Is there a way to make an ISO of my Windows disc on the Mac?

Do you have access to any Windows machine right now? If so, check out ImgBurn! I've used it and it's pretty simple. It's free. Also HERE are instructions.
