Hello,
I have an imac running leopard and I was wondering whether or not I could install windows via boot camp WITHOUT the windows disc,
I tried using an "upgrade" version of XP but it didn't work and led to multiple computer problems.
Does anyone see a way of getting around this without going to the store an forking out $200?

Dont think this is possiible unless your upgrading (win98 ),newegg do some pretty
cheap deals on XP i think the OEM home version is around $90

Hmmm...
Well all of the links seemed to be broken and I am not that computer savvy (especially with macs).

I copied a version of the windows upgrade disc to my hard drive and I think I have an old version of 98 lying around somewhere, however I'm still confused on EXACTLY what i need to do.

What I'm getting at is I have to copy both versions on to my hard drive then on to the same disc so that the installer will confirm I have both versions of windows without having to eject the cd.

Any steps on how to do this? :D
