Hi,
Does anyone know whether the Bootcamp in Snow Leopard will be switchable on the run? That is, without the necessity of shutting down and restarting in the alternative system.

Bootcamp is simply a partitioning tool and a set of drivers for Windows. What you are talking about would be a full virtualisation hypervisor. Which is not being implemented in Snow Leopard.

you mean like vmware fusion or paralel desktop?

Yes, but instead of running on-top of an OS running underneath all the OSes. And somehow providing the running OSes with the appearance of full access to the hardware. Apple are simply not going to do this with Snow Leopard.
