I pushed the power button on my 2018 Mac mini and the LED lit up like it was booting but my monitor didn't come out of standby. I waited a few minutes and nothing. I can't say for sure it booted or maybe just the light came on because it's not like with old computers you would hear the hard drive. I had to push and hold the power button to turn it off... Yea I hate doing that. When I pushed it again it booted normally and didn't even say anything about me powering it off improperly. This was the only time it did this but I'm worried it's a sign something is wrong. My monitor is a 32" Samsung C32F391FWN hooked up to HDMI.
