Booting from external hard driev

Hi

I have a portable hard drive with ubuntu linux installed on it, and was wondering if i could boot my macbook from it :?

You have to use rEFIt to boot from anything else than Mac OS and Windows.

It works fine after you figured out how to use it.

So if i have my hard drive plugged in via usb, and have rEFIt installed then i will be able to boot into ubuntu...
