I have a 2019 iMac running Catalina on which I installed Windows 10 using Bootcamp. Only issue is when I want to go from MacOS to Windows, I click restart in the Apple menu, hold the Option key but the screen to choose the operating system doesn’t come up. It just starts MacOS without giving me the choice. Even if I then click restart from the MacOS log in screen same thing happens.
The only way I can get to Windows is to shut down the iMac and hold the option key after pressing the power button. (Getting back is fine as the Bootcamp icon in Windows does what it is supposed to.)
Any ideas? Thanks

Try resetting the PRAM and maybe even the SMC. Holding down the Option key at exactly the right time isn't easy without the boot chime sound. What I do is watch for the screen to slightly light up right after restarting and then hold down the Option key. That usually works.

I also have a 2019 iMac running Catalina. I found with the wireless keyboard the option key is hit or miss, With a wired keyboard it works every time.

I had an idea that might be he issue. Might try plugging in the Apple Magic Keyboard before hitting restart. Thanks
