On my G5, I've installed Retail Tiger, Leopard and various Linux distros off a USB stick using OpenFirmware. However, I cannot get it to boot Leopard Server, it shows the message "Can't open device or file", even though Disk Utility says the stick is bootable.

When trying to install LS from the Install Mac OS X Server.app file, I will click reboot, enter my password and it will disregard the USB stick and boot back into regular Leopard.

Does Leopard Server specifically not like USB booting?
