Booting OS 9 on an AL powerbook

I know that Apple doesn't support this, but I found a potential buyer for my 15" 1.5GHz AlBook but he really needs OS 9 and doesn't want to monkey with classic. Is there any workaround to getting the pb to boot OS 9 or is it a lost cause?
