Hi guys.

I was given an iPhone by a non-geek person. Said person had tried to update it via itunes, from 1.1.4 to 2.0.
The iphone locked, and I was asked to unlock it.

I have been trying for several days to unlock it.

The iphone is in "bricked mode". It displays the "connect to iTunes" logo.
Whenever I attempt to restore it, I get errors with different numbers.
I get error 1604 and others.
And the logo remains.

The iPhone will go into DFU mode.

I suspect that the bootloader has become damaged.

Is there a way to repair an iphone that has a damaged bootloader?

Go into DFU (MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN DFU MODE), use a counter, Restore through iTunes. Then open Pwnage Tool and try again. Tell me what happens.
