bordercolor Attribute in XHTML 1.0 Transitional

My site: chanoc.com has recently been converted to XHTML!!!! Wohooo!!!!

* Well not the whole site, just the index page. Other pages will follow!

Clicking on the W3C validator, it comes up with two error messages, one says that <.....bordercolor="blue"> is not an attribute in XHTML, although my Sybex XHTML book says it is an attribute.

Any thoughts?

It's an attribute just not a valid one. It wasn't valid in HTML 4 either if I remember correctly.

You should be using CSS to style table borders.

Good on you for moving to XHTML and for taking the trouble to make sure it validates!
