Borderless Printing with iPhoto

hey guys, i have a Canon Pixma IP4000 photo printer.....i am having a hell of a time trying to get it to print borderless.....i went to canons website and used their guide on printing borderless with iPhoto and that didnt work.....can u guys recommend a program to use to print my photos borderless or the right steps i should follow to do this?

Do you have Photoshop Elements or Photoshop?

I find it works best when you set up the document properties for the printer in PS first...just an idea.

I never print from iPhoto, but hope that helps you.
