Bose BT speakers disconnect

I'm not sure if this is the right forum...

My Bose SoundLink Mini (v1?) used to reliably connect to my iMac when it was turned on. Lately, it will connect and then disconnect from BT after about 20 seconds. If I reconnect from the menu bar it connects right up and stays connected. I tried a factory reset on the Bose but I'm not sure what's happening. TIA.

I've got an original SoundLink Mini as well and i'm getting the same. I think it happened sometime in the last six months with one of the Mac updates. I haven't found a solution yet. I'm on a 2013 mac pro if that makes any difference

Yes I seem to remember it started after an update. Mine's a 2017 so it's something in the BT setup interface. But thanks for the confirmation. I may check with Bose.
