My old iPod Touch seems to have just died. It always sat on my Bose docking speakers.

If I put all my music on my new iPhone 4S, can I safely sit it on the Bose dock and play it? And, I assume, that works as a charger for my phone as it did for my iPod Touch? The bose speakers are maybe 4 or 5 years old.

thanks.

Yes, you can play the music just like you did for the touch,

Hmmm. What model iPod touch did you have? if it was a first gen, your bose dock may be firewire charging in which it will not charge
thanks.
no problem

Firewire charging? How would I know this? It just sits on the little prongs. You know, the stand up thing. There are no firewire cables......

Thanks.
