Apologize if this has been asked, but is it possible for Bose to develop a lightning connect for their existing QC25 headphones, allowing people to continue using the headphones without an adapter?

Are you able to disconnect the cable from the headphones? My older Bose headphones have a detachable cable, so I am kind of hoping they'll make a lightning connector for them, (even though they're older than the QC line). If your cable is able to be replaced I'd see no problem with them making a lightning replacement for it.

Yes I can, I'm hoping they make one cause I'll probably lose that adapter if I have to use it a lot.

Why can't you just leave the adapter attached to the headphones permanently? A second adapter will cost you $9. That's two lattes at Starbucks.
