Bose QC 35 charging question.

Last week I purchased Bose QC 35 headphones and I can't use them via Bluetooth while they are charging. So I exchanged them at my local Best Buy, same issue. Is this normal?

I only ask, because it's the only wireless headphones I have come across that can't be used while it's being charged.

Any input would be appreciated.

The Bose QC35 cannot be used while charging unfortunately. Apparently even after the latest firmware update, it's not an option Bose offers.
