Bose Sound Dock for iPhone G4

Just called Bose...sounds like there won't be any compatibility issues with the new model not fitting the dock. Anybody else heard?

there shouldn't because you should have the universal dock ring that Bose shipped out when the 2nd gen iPod nano came out. If you don't, just call them up and ask for one. With that ring, you can fit the iPhone 4's universal dock insert into the sounddock. However, it won't work for power on the original sounddock. For that, I'd recommend the thing, I think it's called Scosche PassPort. It's a $20 contraption that adapts the firewire into USB charging and it also is already molded with the universal dock well.
