Hey everyone,

I recently purchased this little bluetooth speaker because I've landed a job with a lot of boring outdoor work and felt like music would be great to have. So this is just a short review with my thoughts on it.

In the short time I've had to use it I and my coworkers have greatly enjoyed it. The sound quality is fantastic across the board with nice punchy bass and clear crisp highs even at max volume which can easily fill a large room. Putting the speaker against or near a solid wall intensifies the lows, as it has 2 passive radiators in the centre front and back which means the sound can be bounced.

(I am sitting now in a high ceiling office (approx 20' wide by 50' long with sloped 15' ceilings) with the speaker connected to my Macbook, volume on iTunes set to 35%, computer volume set to only 2 dots and the speaker at max. Any higher and the volume would be uncomfortable.

The feel and quality of the unit is great with a nice solid weight and good quality materials throughout with anti slip rubber on the top and bottom and around the grill front and back. The body is a solid, seamless piece of sandblasted aluminum similar to a Macbook. I do not think Bose advertises this speaker as water resistant in any capacity, but the basic construction offers a little protection from a little bit of water that might fall on top of it or flow under/around it.

It's great to come in from working and place it on the handy cradle to recharge, still playing music if needed of course. I have yet to kill the battery even after an 8 hour work day (not constantly playing, breaks, lunch and some travel time it was turned off). Power adapter can be plugged directly into the speaker for charging.

Bluetooth is easy to set up, power on 1 button, bluetooth 1 button and select from device menu. The speaker remembers 5 devices so simply turning it on after that is usually all that needs doing. Or plug in using an auxiliary cable, easy enough.

So if anyone is in the market for a Bluetooth speaker, I can't recommend this one enough, 250$ (after tax) well spent.
