Hello, if the bottom of my MBP 2010 17" is hot very often, does that mean the battery is going to have problem soon?

Those computers just run hot. If you're still using the original battery, you should expect that a battery problem could happen at any time simply due to age.

I forgot to mention that the area above the function keys are also very hot.

When I went to Apple Store about 9 months ago, they checked the battery life and found that it had been losing capacity. Too bad they can't do anything as they don't have the parts anymore.

This is pretty normal, and expected behavior. My 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2017 both warm up on the bottom. The area above the touchbar/function row does frequently get a bit too hot to touch.
